I would recommend this game if you like the original System Shock.
Overall I still consider this game up there with being one of the best classic fps alongside Unreal and Half Life. Luckily you can save anywhere in the game and you have multiple save slots. It can kind of cause you to put points in stats you don't really want. You have to kind of figure these out for yourself. Another issue you might come across is trying to figure out things the game doesn't really tell you that it should like what weapons are considered standard and heavy and what certain ammo belongs to what gun. You find yourself getting stuck sometimes as well esp on ladders luckily you can still get out stuck situations and jumping isn't great either esp if you don't run beforehand. You will find yourself having to run most of the time cause it is quicker and running takes a bit to get used to cause you can't use the arrow keys you would normally use to walk with the run button together.

Firstly the movement is kind of annoying esp walking cause it is so slow and buggy even if you upgrade your agility. No onto the bad things lucky they are only minor things. You have mostly returning enemies with some new interesting ones. So gameplay wise there is a lot more going on than you average classic fps like Quake or Half Life which I like more. You have a lot of choice of how you want to level up your character in this game since you won't be able to max out every stat in one playthrough. Heavy Weapons are distinguished by their low ammo capacity, and a very powerful high amount of damage (aside from the Statis Field Generator). Some are useful while others not so much. Heavy Weapons are the third weapon class in System Shock 2. Yes you have psi abilities in this game as well. You have stats you can upgrade like weapon or physical stats like endurance and agility and even psi. One thing that makes this game stand out from other classic fps from its time is it has rpg leveling elements to it. Good and unique choice of weaponry from energy weapons like laser pistol and sword to standard guns like the grenade launcher. Could use a bit more colour though as some cut scenes and areas are a bit bland. The graphics and visual are ok for its time. Music is ok also but there isn't many tracks unfortunately. It has a pretty good plot and story that continues over from the first system shock. Unlike most of the games I mentioned is does have a few minor issues which I will mention later in the review. System Shock 2 is the sequel to System Shock 1 another classic vintage shooter alongside Half Life, Unreal and Quake.
